Question about a 2006 2wd leveled

Had this same truck with nitto terra grapplers 295/70/17 on ultra 17x8 w/25mm offset. worked perfect. looked at getting the same tire with a 17x9 w/12mm offset. am i correct in thinking these will stick out more (which I want) due to the offset? Since this rim is 1" wider will this potentially cause that tire to rub or will the difference in offset pretty much be a wash due to the fact that the rim is going to stick out more? Thanks.

just found out they have the 17x9 in a -12mm offset too. still dont know the bs though. The -12mm offset would push out the wheel/tire to allow more room for the 295/70/17 correct? Think this combo would work ok?

I think it will work. Tires will stick out past the fender a little, but should work just fine.

thanks.

A 9 inch wheel with 4.5 inches of BS will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the OEM wheel.
A 9 inch wheel with 5.5 inches of BS will stick out 1.5 inches farther than the OEM wheel.
A 8 inch wheel with 5.5 inches of BS will stick out 0.5 inches farther than the OEM wheel.

Those would stick out about 3/4 inches farther than your stock wheels.
