Well all I can say is you get what you pay for. Have you factored in the miles you will get out of each compared to the price. If you're worried about cost, which you kind of implied, then I would be looking at that side of things as well. Just my .02 cents.

Lots of people here run them as daily drivers if that's what you're wondering.

Edit: Don't get the wrong impression, I have nothing against the Trails, they look great. If that's what you want, go for it.

Well if you can tell me with any certainty that the BFG's will last X miles and the Nittos will last Y miles then I am all ears.

Well, I don't think anyone can on the Trail Grapps yet as they have only been out for a year. I'm sure there are plenty of testaments about the BFG AT and MT, as well as the Toyo MT, but the Trail Grapps are a guess.

All I can tell you is that my Pirellis have 50,000 on them and look like they can do another 10,000. Which makes me mad because I have new wheeels just sitting at the house itching for new rubber.

I've used BFG A/T on my last 3 trucks, currently got 51k on my set but I'm getting bigger wheels so now I need new tires to accomodate. I was going to go with the Nitto's but I decided to get the Toyo Open County A/T. Someone posted in another forum that Toyo owns Nitto, that's not the reason why I got the Toyo but it's good to know. I got the Toyo A/T because I do more street driving than A/T and I think it'll last longer based on many tire review websites. I can't wait to get my new wheels and tires in the next 3 weeks.

I guess we kno the trails will last atleast 13 months haha nobody will say how much tread they have after how many miles. Its between those and the km2's for me. Price difference is really attractive and both look good. I was strictly km2's until I saw some trais yesterday.

i just got mine today! and i love they way they look. if anything i noticed but not bothered compared to my stock tires is from a stop 0-5mph if that u can feel the ***** from the tire but very little and at cruising speeds small humming or whatever u wanna call it just turn your volume 2 sticks and problem solved. what do u expect they are m/t. overall i love em nothing bad to say about them. i know i haven't even had 24hrs with them but i have a feeling my opinion is gonna stay the same. get them 285/65/18

I've had mine for about 3500 miles and the only wear they show is the nipples are gone. I love these tires and I expect to see at least 36-40k out of them unless they start wearing quicker as they get older.

Like drewskie said, you will feel the lugs from 0-5 and 5-0 roughly but it's not a bad thing. Reminds you that you bought a mean looking tire and it makes the $1200 price tag that much more worth it.

Been running them on my daily driver fro about 5k now. They still look like brand new...One thing I did notice is they have a few small rock chunks out of some of the lugs...probably because I like to drive my truck like im in the Baja 1000 whenever I get in the dirt. Other than that I really like them. Did I mention they look awesome too?
