2000 4x4 front rotor question(already searched)
2000 4x4 front rotor question(already searched)
I need new front rotors and im not willing to pay almost $150 for 2 becuase I honestly dont know how much longer im keeping my truck. But looking for front rotors I found on advanced auto parts website they have some for $38 a piece BUT it says its 14mm lugs. My truck has 12mm studs, can I run the 14mm stud hole rotors with 12mm. Im thinking its going to be a little bit of a problem.

Any of the parts houses around should have "economy" rotors for cheap, usually no more than $50 a set. I buy from Carquest alot. Yes, don't mix stud sizes, just go to a store and buy them, anyone carries them.
I don't know what's up with the 2004-08 Ford F150's brakes but I'm on my thrid set of front rotors and my second set of rear rotors. Why do they need replaced so often? With the last front rotors being replaced in January 2008. I got the truck with 107 miles in October 2004 and now it has around 50,000 miles. Monro Muffler & Brake quoted a 4 rotor replacement at $900 and then an economy price of around $500. What's the deal with economy brakes? The warranty is the same.
