Question Strange clunking noise after getting tires rotated... Help please

Hey yall, I went and got the tires rotated today, I went to a shop that I had only gone to once before and everything went smoothly last time. However, after my rotation I went over to Subway with my girlfriend for a bite to eat and as I turned right into a parking spot I heard this clunking or popping noise coming from what seemed to be the left front tire. I wasn't sure what the sound was or where it was coming from since I had never heard it before. I went back to the tire place and they couldn't figure it out either. The guys there think it has something to do with the power steering but they don't understand how it would mess up just from the rotation.

They had it jacked up by both ends of my Fabtech crossmember if it possibly makes any sort of difference.

Any in site at all as to what could be causing the noise? It happens when I turn the wheel and sometimes when I hit the brakes. Going to try and take it someplace Friday morning when I have time.

Thanks yall,
-Barrett

That is a an odd one. Should not have made a difference just rotating tires. Lugs are all tight right? I have heard of guys doing this and leaving the shop, and the guy never torqued the wheels down and the lugs were coming loose.

At a shop now. Guy said it's some rubber hitting metal someplace. And that it's a coincidence. Which that's a pretty big coincidence if you ask me!

if its just rubbing lock to lock, I would not worry about it. Where is it hitting?

It wasn't the tires rubbing. I know what that Is.

They ended up getting the noise to stop. Apparently the cam bolts were loose and they were causing the noise. When discount tire lifted the truck it must have loosened them somehow. It's all good now though!
