Just Got Great Tire Deal

Many of you have been really helpful with my stupid truck questions throughout the last few years and because I dont know as much as many on here, I dont get the opportunity to offer much help and advice like Id like to, so I thought Id share the tire deal I just got.
I have been interested in the Kelly Safari TSR's for some time but hard to find them for less than their 289 retail price. So I saw a sale at JC Whitney today for 205 but still 59$ heavy freight charge even though they listed free shipping...SOOOO I got on their chat and argued with the guy and he ended up telling me that if I DONT use the code for the free shipping, but instead use CODE: AJRV17 that it would take 15% more off the already incredible price of $205. I did it, and after all was said and done, got a set of 315/70/17s (35x12.50's) to my door for $783.07
Now nobody go and rain on my parade and tell me these tires suck I did a lot of research and they seem like really good tires (Made by Goodyear). Maybe not Thompsons, Cepeks, or Procomps, but i have read a lot of good reviews and am happy with the price for sure.
Hope it helps someone else.

p.s, I even called other tire companies that promise to price match and they said they could not match that price regardless of thier policy...

Just got lift on 2 weeks so only about 200 miles on them. Howerever, I think you will be very happy. They are very quiet and seem to have good road characteristics. Havnt been offroading with them yet or even a dirt road for that matter so cant comment quite yet on that. I think they will turn out to be a very good dual purpose tire with good wear.
Post up on yours once you have some offroad use on them. I have 4 vehicles, so not sure how long before they will have enough miles on them to give a longterm test report.
I do get a lot of compliments on their looks too.

Got mine out on Saturday, then did a 500 mile trip, in the rain most of the way. First impression, tires are about as loud as the BFG ATs, I had on my F150. Ride is a little stiffer ( d vs P metric). I have slight vibration above 65, so I will get them rebalanced when I go in have teh wheel they damaged replaced. Was on a couple of field paths, at my futur father in laws, and they performed great. Didn't feel them slip once, and could clearly see where they were moving some miud.
