What are you guys running to LT rated tires at?

First experience with LT rated tires used to just run my P rated at around 33 PSI. I have LT275/70/18 BFG All Terrains and I'm just curious as to what everyone else was running. I was running 40 PSI all around but thought that might be a little much so I just dropped it down to 35 PSI all around about 2000 kms ago. Not sure if its my imagination or not but it seems like the shoulders are wearing a little now. Just wondering what PSI to run these at, want to get the best treadlife possible.

I did run 50 psi in my BFG at ko's when I purchased them in July of 09. I tried running 35 psi in them but it made my truck seem "mushy" in the overall feel of it. I now run 45 psi in them and it seems to be the best all around psi for what I do w/ the truck.

Those are a LR E max of 80, run them at 50. As Tuttled said, do not go below 45.

I run 60psi all the way around in my 285/65/18 Goodyear Silent Armor. Truck rides great and tires are wearing even with 10,500mi on them.

Based on what?

I run my 275/70-18 E range at 40 to 45. 98K miles and climbing with no issues.

Well if your vehicle came with those OE and a TPMS setup, the light would come on at 46 on those LR E with a max of 80.

Are you saying 98k on the tires or on the truck?

Thanks for the source. I'm quite content on running 40 - 45 without any concerns. I do add pressure when I'm working the truck so it's good.

98K on the truck. I'm now on my 3rd set of tires on this truck. I dont' run down to the wear bars. I plow with my truck, so if my tires are questionable at the beginning of the snow season, they get replaced.

Only my old heritage F150's got that sort of miles out of a single set of Michelin LTX AT (those things wore like granite, 3 different trucks saw 95 to 110K out of each set of those, shame they discontinued them).

42 to 44 psi has been working great for me. I've even run 50 psi on a long trip in the summer heat. Better fuel mileage and less chances for blowout's.

thanks for all the info guys, just noticed I that the title of this thread is F%$#'d up too. I have all 4 of my tires at 44psi now and they feel pretty good, getting them rotated tomorrow and I'll keep an eye on the treadwear, I'll post up if I notice anything unusual
