Which Tires are right for Me?

So its about time for new tires on my truck, put about 55K miles on what i got, and they are just about bald as heck.

2002 F150 4x4 4.6l V8
98k Miles on the truck total

I currently have Maxxis MA751's...They are 255/?/16 i think? not entireley sure

My truck has mods such as WINDOW TINT! lol that is all

I go to school in San Antonio, but when i go home i live in the country, down dirt roads, and i will be doing MILD offroading such as mudding, and just driving down the roads

I was planning BFG AT's but i don't really know for sure what i will want/need

Any suggestions, no Nitto's at all, my dad will not go for those

Go with some 265/75/16 BFG AT's. I might be a little biased but I think that the BFG AT's are the best all around all terrain tire. They wear great, look great and if you really shop around you can even find them for a decent price. Nittos don't do anything for me either, the new Trail Grapplers are sweet but they are pricey. Another tire that looks good and has been getting great reviews is the Goodyear Duratrac but they were another $60 a tire over my BFG's so they weren't even considered. General Grabber AT2's are decent too and they might be the cheapest of the bunch, kind of a BFG AT knockoff.

I agree BFG AT's or Maxxis Bighorn's which are a little more aggressive.

Being you have a 4x4 a 285 or whatever is close to 33 inches tall ought to fit great.

yeah I agree with PawPaw....285's are a great size for a stock 4x4.
