Hello Moto!

I'm stoked, this weekend I finally pulled the trigger on new tires and wheels. I went the Moto Metal 951 route, with 4.53" BS and -12 offset.

/roar

Thanks to all who have gone before and documented their progress, without which I would have never been able to visualize the outcome and known what exactly to ask for.

Those look great man. Are they 20x10 or 20x9s? Are you leveled or lifted?

Thanks, same as what UNC Lariat said, tires are Nitto 325/60/18, with the Autospring 2.5. With the little bit of rubbing I have in the back of the front wheel well, I've already got the bug for either a 3 inch Performance Accessories Body lift of the 4 in Ranchero Suspsension lift. I don't really want to go all out with 6 inches....I've already conceded this is my mid-life crisis truck.

Would the full 6 inches lift be too much for a soon to be 40-something?

I don't think a 4 or 6 would be "too much" as I just turned 40 myself and am considering both in the future, as well as on my next truck. However, do not do a body lift, you're getting too old to not do things right. That said, I am considering the 4" Rancho myself. Good luck.

I just got the Rancho lift put on the other month and love it! Wish I had done it much sooner. I never wanted the 6"+ with 38s or anything like that, but the 4" lift sets the truck apart from all the other 4x4s on the road.

if you only want an inch or two over your current setup go with the rancho.

personally i would just go with a 6" kit, its gonna be around the same price and you'll regret not going bigger.
