Offset ?

I am new to this site and I just ordered my first truck...an FX4 SCREW and it's to arrive in under 3 weeks, I already ordered a 2.5 leveling kit. I want to throw a set of 22(305/40/22) or 24's(305/35/24) on it but I want to maintain the stock tire height. I also dont want the rims to bet sticking way out so what offset should I be looking for? 0,+18, +30 ?????? I did some searching through the site and I couldn't come up with anything.

thanks guys!

First of all, congrats on the purchase and we look forward to seeing the truck. The new model is beginning to grow on me, especially after seeing the SVT.

The first bit of information we'll need is the width of the wheel you are after, probably a 9" or 10" wheel. To keep the wheel inboard, you'll want a positive offset, probably in the +45 range (but that depends on the wheel width)

The other bit of info would be your stock wheel size. I don't know what that is for a 2010 FX4. Once we have that, here are a couple calculators that will help out:

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

http://www.autolounge.net/calculators/tirespacing.html

My wheels are 20X9 with +18mm offset, and they stick out a little more than an inch.

I'm leaning towards the HELO 22" model 886. They have an offset of +35 and a bp of6x135. How far are these gonna stick out?

You want a 9.5 inch wheel with 6.5 to 7 inches of backspacing. Mine have 6.7 inches of backspacing and the edge of my tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of the fenders up front (on my Expy). I have more pics in my gallary.
As for fitment, just install some lowering shackles out back and you will be fine.
