Pics with 22"x10" Wheels

Anyone running 22"x10" wheels, especially on a 1997-2003 2WD sporty-ish truck? I'd love to see some pics!

I'm looking at some 22"x10" wheels (with 15mm offset) and I'm trying to figure out how far they'll stick out past the fenders. If you post a pic and know your offset or backspacing, please post. Let me know if you had to do any trimming or other problems.

Thanks!

What size tires are you thinking about going with? A low profile or something taller?

Probably 305/40R22 if I get the 22"x10" wheels. I'll go with 305/45R22 if I get 22"x9.5" wheels, but at nearly 33" tall that would eat up a little more performance.

I agree. I'm also looking for some 22"s to replace a set of 20"s I have now. Since I've got the 4x2, I'll likely stay with something like a 285/45/22. I had a set of 26x10 rims on truck to begin with - and they do eat up some wheel well space!

The 285/45R22 just scares me a little that it's so thin (only about 1.5" wider than the wheel, so nothing protecting the rim from the curb).

I'm still chewing on 20" Harley look-alikes with black finish and 285/50R20 tires, but I'm not sure they'd really fill up the wheel wells enough without putting a drop.

I really wish you could "try them on". You can try on clothes before spending $30 at the mall, but you can't try on wheels and tires before spending $2,000 at the tire shop...

I hear ya there. I really don't want anything less than a 9 or 9.5 wide rim. But a guy should at least be happy with the look before he plunks down that kind of green.
