Broken caliper bolt...

Ugh, so i was replacing my front brakes this morning, and apparently my torque wrench is broken - when i was torquing the caliper bolts, it sheared one off!

My dad has an extractor set, so hopefully i'll be able to get it out, but my question is: is the bolt a "special" ford bolt, or can i go to the hardware store and just get a random bolt there?

Thanks!

hard to say for sure... but since its a critical component I would probably buy a high-strength bolt. Most hardware stores have them. They are more money, but its worth it.

Answer is: yes, they are specific. But the good news is that a local shop had some, and cost 46 cents each. Problem solved, brakes now on...NIGHT AND DAY difference!
