I have been looking at getting Wheels for my 2009, and am amazed at the number of wheel manufacturers. Price put aside for a moment- who makes the best product out there, best Warranty etc-- I do not want to buy Chrome Wheels and have them peel in two months.Thanks.

 

I don't know about warranties as I have never had aftermarket rims so I speak only from cruising these boards. Eagle Alloys have been around a long time and the KMC XD Series are fairly new but I don't recall hearing any negative feedback...sure some others can chime in with experience.

 

The KMC XD series wheels seem very popular. I am looking at the Shilo from KMC. Its not the XD series but I am sure there quality is great or people would not be buying them and would be posting negatively.

 

well if you want chrome rim and want them to stay like new first no road salt helps alot with any brand

 

Yep my chrome XD's have some minor pitting and I kept them as clean as I could this winter (Nebraska). Also had one wheel flake the first time I wiped them off. Replacement was on backorder for over 6 months so I'm stuck with it now.
