Post 4.5 backspacing...

I am looking to purchase a new set of upper control arms and I found some info saying that I would need a maximum of 4.5" of backspace for a camburg setup. Now does this mean that I could fit my stock rims still? I know that the backspacing on stockers are 5.5" but the wording doesn't quite click, thanks in advance.

If it says maximum then no nothing greater that 4.5" will fit. Stockers are out, this is the same as most lift kits out there.

4.6 would be greater backspacing...pulling the edge of the wheel and sidewall of the tire closer to the arm. 4.4 would push it farther away. ETA: assuming the aftermarket wheel you go with is 9 inches....it's gonna be sticking out about 2" farther on the outside lip than a factory FX4 wheel (8" wide). So take that into account w/ rubbing issues, tires kicking up debris all over the side of your truck, etc.
