2wd and 295's?

Let me start by saying I have searched but only really found them on 4x4's. I have a 2.5" AS on the front and the tires I have now (275/65/18) Look close to a car tire on my truck. From my measurements the tires on my truck are 31" tall, but calculators say they are 32.1". My problem is I want to fill the wheel wells more because looking at my shock tower isn't very appealing for me, does anyone have a set of 295/70/18's on their 2wd? I have appx. 6" from the top of my tire to bottom of my fender and at full lock 3" from inside side of tire to frame.... here's to hoping.

I think you could probly get them to fit with some trimming......I don't recall anyone having those on a 2wd. 285/65R18 would probly be your best best, or a 33x12.50. But like I said it can probly be done.
