I have made my mind up on tires and im going with toyo m/t. Im just not sure to go with 275/70/18 or 33x12.50/18....I have a 275/65/18 now. and they are going on my stock 18 inch wheels with 2.5 leveling kit and it is 4x4

Go with the 275's, they are a lil taller and the 33x12.50 cost more.
OR.....if you like wider better than taller. 275 is like half to an inch taller than the 33x12.50's but the 12.50's are about an inch wider.
goodluck

I'd go with the 33x12.50's.

You can fit the 285/75-18 Toyos on the stock wheels with a 2.5" level, with no rubbing, I promise. Look at my sig.

There are a few members here running the AT in that size too. Its roughly a 35x11.50 (Like 34.5x11.25 really).

I am in the same boat and after looking at a 275/70/18 and a 275/65/18 side by side at the tire shop yesterday it made my mind up. As soon as my old wheels and tires are sold the 275/70s are going on. What made my mind up is they are a good bit taller than 65s and I do not want any rubbing at all. I know that allot of guys say that they only get a little rubbing here and there and some don't, I use my truck and I don't want that to be another worry I have. By the way I have decided on the Firestone destination mt and hopefully they will be on by the end of the week or the first of next. Hope I helped.
