i have a 05 silver x-cab fx4 with a 2.5 inch hell bent steel leveling kit. i just bought black moto metal 951's in a 17x9 with 4.5" backspace. im trying to decide on tires and was wondering if anyone could post some pics of 33's so i can get an idea of what looks good. im thinking of mickey thompson mtz or atz's or toyo open country mt's. i only see toyo's in a 33x 11.5", would that look too skinny? i deffinetly want to go as wide and high as i can. i'm also not sure how the mickeys would look in a 12.5" since all i can find is mostly 13.5" pics. i'm told that the special sizes look different than the traditional sizes. also does anyone know what the tire life is like on these tires? thanks.

 

Both are great tires, Toyo MTs continually rank as high as any. Take a look at FordF4220's new post for exactly how 33x11.50 would look.

As far as the MTZ's go they all look the same, the ATZ's are the ones that look different

 

These are 295x70x17 Toyo's 33.5x12x17 on 17x9 wheel's with 5 inches of BS. Toyo also makes a 285x75x17 34x11.5x17.

When I had 35's on these wheel's I did, but none with these tires. The 295x70x17 are close to 34 inches tall and fit great. Nitto makes the new Trail Grappler in a 295x70x17 also. You may want to check those out too.
