bfg all terrains

I'm trying to decide on which BFG all terrain tires to go with. I have stock 20" rims. Im either going with the 285/65/20 or 275/65/20. My truck is a 2wd with a 2" level kit with 3.73 gears. I really don't want any rubbing issues at all. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe the 285's will work okay, with no rubbing, kinda like putting them on a stock 4x4.

285s are as tall as mine are, if not a little taller... But they are a lot narrower. My friend with a Lincon f150 4x4 is stock and has 275s and he claims is rubs when he turns. They will be about the same height. 285s are 34.59" tall. 275s are 34.07" tall. Since you have a 2wd, you do sit lower, but your level kit should make it sit up enough to fit either one in there... You will probably rub on your plastic valence and maybe a little on the fender well when you turn. Both can easily be fixed with some EMT Shearers or a craft knife...

I'd suggest 285/55-20's.
