I have a 2005 SCREW FX4 and am trying to decide whether I want to get chrome (or alum.) or black wheels. Looking at a 2" levelling kit with probably some 325/60/18 Terra Grapplers - at least thats wht im thinking for now...

What is you opinion of chrome or black on a Red SCREW?

I think either one will look good with your color it is all going to depend on your preferences. A lot of guys with the DSG lower tow tone go for the blackout and black wheels which looks good. If you go to a black wheel you are going to need to either lose or paint that chrome step bar though.

 

Blacks with a chrome accent. That should match the step bar. Maybe chrome the door handles to complete the look.

 

Black with a little machined finish in there would look good. Ive always thought the stock FX4 wheels would look good opposite of what they are, with the whole wheel black and the little squares machined. Just a thought.

 

I think you can have best of both worlds I just picked up these 20" MB Smooth wheels with 295/50/20 for $1150 from discounttire.com
