Thinking about painting stock wheels

i have a 05 2wd screw lariat (white) and was wondering about painting the stock 18" wheels black. i used to have a 4x4 xterra that was my off road car and a lot of guys who drove those used the bed liner spray to paint the wheels black. has anyone ever done this with spray? i was thinking if it looked good it would hold better than regular paint but am not sure. so can anyone help me out?

if you do a search theres a bunch of threads on this , Mblouir even did a write in the how to section.

You said your lariat is white , im assuming you have chrome bumpers ?

if so , id say no to black wheels

Yeah, black wheels are hard to pull of with the chrome bumpers. Just my opinion.

ive threw out the idea of liner spray but what do yall think about getting my bumpers powder coated either flat black or white then flat black powder coated wheels? Ive looked around and seen a red supercab who did this and wasnt sure about doing it on a white lariat. any opinions or suggestions?

(leveling kit got put on yesterday! waiting for 33's)

Ya it has a good color and texture to it and doesn't scrape off unless you really gash it which is good I'm still debating wether to do it or not and paint everything except the chrome ring on the capbur idk if you can even do this to alloys I havnt been able to find a solid answer yet

Yes you can....I've painted several sets of alloys and it did well....the bed liner will be just that much better/stronger more durable.....I say go for it...
