2 sets of wheels SCREWED UP

so i ordered my boss 330 wheels a while back through discount tire. when they arrived, the box said they had the correct bolt pattern(6x135) but when they went to put them on my truck, they were not the correct pattern so they had to order a new set which took another week. The new set came in today. when Discount Tire opened the package, the wheels were chipped and scuffed up! now they ordered a new set which will take another week!

i sent boss a message through their website telling them about their poor customer service and quality in their work. is there anything else i should do? should i ask for any kind of discounts or anything like that? This is now the third set of wheels that discount tire has had to order for me.

That would not be fun. I would remain calm and ask for a discount due to the number of mishaps and for the fact you had to wait those extra weeks beyond what you were initially told.

How is that Boss motorsports poor customer service? Mislabeling of boxes happens. Rims also get scratched during shipping. Accidents.

I think you are getting great customer service. I also think your feelings are hurt since you don't have your rims yet.

BTW kudos for choosing Boss Motorsports wheels. Made in the USA.

Poor packaging maybe, but things happen I wouldn't get too upset about it.

I say as long as they are trying to remedy the problem then you are getting great customer service. Especially if the wheels were chipped due to shipping and they are replacing them. Boss is not at fault for a shipping companies goofs. Accidents happen. If they quit trying to help you or quit trying to resolve the issue then you can get mad. I understand the frustration of waiting because I am in Alaska. It takes forever to get stuff up here. I have seen a bunch of companies that have said well its not our fault it got damaged in shipping and had to fight with them and the shipping company to get things resolved. Again as long as they are willing to work with you I would be patient. Just my .02

I would ask Discount for a discount on the rims. I have had good luck with them and their customer service. Just talk to the manager. And as to them arriving damaged being the shipping co problem, that may be the case, but until you take possession of the rims it is still Discount Tires problem.
