Advise on a newly installed brakes

I just installed a set (all 4) of rotors / pads last Saturday. I usually don't go with fancy slotted or drilled rotors, but the Raybestos high-perf's were on sale locally for $82 each (all 4). I gave those a try just to try something different. The pads were Wagner thermoquiets with Edge techology from Rock Auto. I also installed new brake hardware (Motorcraft) front and back which included the front pad springs, front and back dust boots for the slides, and all sets of slippers. I have replaced many rotor / pads combos in the past, but this one seems to be acting funny. I noted that the pedal feels like there is fade at any brake temperature. If I need to stop quickly, the grip is not there until the last minute. Just feels strange to me. This may be nothing more than "seating" in or just the feel of the different rotor. Any suggestions or comments welcome. I will drive it for a week before making a decision. BTW, I did not have the brake lines unhooked, so there should not be any air in the lines. Thanks.

Update

Well, the fade has subsided significantly after one week of driving. The pulsating pedal is gone...along with the noise. Now it seems or "feels" like I have one pad that is sticking. I used to be able to coast out of the garage if it's in neutral, but not know. I have been checking for higher than normal brake heat after parking it, but there does not seem to be any at all four. I don't think that it's the e-brake, but could be wrong. Would one be able to tell if the wheels were off the ground? Thanks.

cheap rotors. not 100% smooth. take it over a shop and have them put it on the machine that checks to see if its warped...
