Painting wheel??

Well my wheels have started to pit. I'm thinking about just painting them black or having them powdercoated. Anybody ever done this? They're chrome by the way.

ive painted alot of wheels. the main thing is prep. you need to sand the absolute **** out of them, then use self etching primer. then you can use a filler primer. then paint, i use krylon on mine and they seem to hold up ok, even with my offroading. Then you will need to clear coat them. dont get lazy on the clear, make sure to take you time and wet sand and make them look good. Id wait at least 24 hours in between paint and clear.

if you can find someone to powdercoat then definitely go that route
