So say my truck is parked and i slowly start backing up and turn the wheel, there is sometimes a loud pop comin from the front tires. What is this? How can i check to see if that is what it is? Any help would be great, thanks

 

If I had to guess (and please don't take my word for it), I'd say it sounds like ball joints.

 

I dont think so, i hear the same noise when im breaking and the second the truck stops, i hear it but not as loud

 

What year truck and is it 4x4?

 

sounds like ball joints to me as well....my buds dodge did this and we put new top ball joints and it fixed it..

 

It's ball joints. I have a 6 inch lift and mine did the exact same thing until I replaced them.
