Help with wheel/tire size

One option of my winter makeover includes Mamba M2's which I think I'm leaning towards 18's rather then 20's but my question is with a leveling kit (2.5) on my 2wd which tire size would make a nice PROPORTIONAL tire size for what wheel well space I'll have. Sure I could fit some pretty decent sizes but I dont want a stuffed look, just a good even look. The tire and wheel package on tire rack for the 18's is 275/65 and 275/55 for the 20's but Im not limited to those, I'll buy seperate if needed. Appreciate your opinions and help on my ever changing taste and idea's lately.

I'd go for a 18x8.5 wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing with a 285x65x18 tire. These are close to 33 inches tall and will fit on a leveled 4x2 assuming it's a 2004-08 body style. A 275x65x18 (32") will look good also. Just my 2 cent's!

I agree. Another option is a 285/60-18 which is basically 32x11.50 tire. I wouldn't go wider than a 9 inch wheel with 5 inches of backspacing.

That would be good. A 9 inch wheel with 5.98 inches of BS will stick out about an inch farther than your OEM wheels.

Alright thanks for the help. Looking forward to leveling my truck and giving it a nice transformation. And to think I almost lowered it!

Looking at going with the 275/65 because its much cheaper on tire rack to match that size wheel. I could get Fuzion XTi's mounted and balanced on the 18" M2's for $1,172 plus shipping (110-120). Not to shabby. But I might go with the General Grabber AT2's that are a little more but still under $1500 shipped. Any opions on either tire?
