Steering wheel shake is back
Hey guys. I had Pirelli Scorpions on my stock 20s when I got my 07. I had a steering wheel shake right at 70MPH that not tire shop could fix. So I got new Toyo 305 55R20 put on the the ride was smooth as glass.
So I just got some Incubus Recoils installed a couple weeks ago and my damn steering wheel shake is back but now from 50-60MPH.
I do let this truck sit for weeks at a time.
What should I do? Also what PSI should I run these tires at, could that affect the shaking?

If you got new wheels they would have had to add weights to balance the tires out again and you probably just lost a weight. No biggie.
I am very busy and use my truck was work, am I hurting it any by driving it?
Its not a bad shake, much like the shake before with the Pirellis that I had rebalanced 5 times without fixing it.

it can lead to more serious problems over time. Take the 30 mins to take it to get the shop for a re balance. Or better yet ride on a donut and drop it off at a shop if you cannot wait and just pick it up when you have a sec. Just some simple preventative maintenance can go a long way
does it happen at certain speeds more then others? Does it appear to go away around certain speeds?
I had a similar problem. Never knew what it was. Just went away after new tires. Obviously, could of been many of several problems.

You don't say which tire this is. If the mas pressure on the tire is 35, run them at 35, if max is 44, run them at around 38. if max is 50 run them at 40-42. That assumes a P series tire. If an LT, pressures would be different.
I have a steering wheel shake as well. I hit a curb going ~10 and brought it in to have it looked at. Nothing was bent or broken and had the tires re-balanced and aligned and the shake went away for 6 months then came back. went away and now its back 4 months later. So i'm thinking its the tires or there might be some sort of fly wheel that gets out of balance in the engine. did you hit a curb or anything of the sort?
