which size tire to get?

ok, so i have decided to order the american racing trench wheels due to the fact eveything thing else i like is discontinued except these they are in chrome and there for my FX2. they are 20x8.5 and i have decided to get them wrapped in the Hankook st rho6 tire. these are greatly priced and seem to be a really good tire per the lighting members opinions. but what size tire should i get?

275/55-20
285/50-20
305/50-20

there is a pepboys across the street and i do know the 275's are $122 each and they got the whole buy 3 get the 4th tire free deal so basically they are cheap. like barely 400 a set cheap.... lol.

I love the look and stance of my 305/50/20s and will replace them with more of the same.

will i see any significant drop in going with 305's? i know they will fit but will they be too heavy to gain any benefit.

I agree. I'd go with the 305's.

Shouldn't be too heavy, maybe 0.5 - 1mpg, nothing really major.

sounds great guys thanks for the help

one last thing though, how much more if any will this wheel/tire combo stick out past stock. the rims are 20x8.5 5.93" backspacing and a 30+ offset, with 305/50-20. stock is 18" rim (not sure of backspacing and offset) with a 265/60-18 tire.

About 1" to 1.5"s if anything. OEM BS is around 6.30.
