Stock 20's, what size tires should i get?

I have a 2006 fx4 with stock 20" rims and currently have 275/55/20 pirelli scorpion ATR. i already have a 2" leveling kit and want some bigger tires. Does anyone have pictures of 285/60/20 tires and what would the height and width calculate out to be?

That would basically be a 34x11.50-20 tire. They would fit fine. Most people run a 305/55-20 (33x12.50) which is a more common size.

hey wandell, what would you recommend if I didn't want the tire to be as wide as 12.5 but the height around 33-34" in an all terrain?

285/55-20's which are basically a 33x11.50-20 tire. BFG makes the AT KO in this size. I'm not sure if anyone else makes this size.

would anyone recommend the 285/55-20 BFGoodrich ATR or a 305/55-20 Mickey Thompson BAJA ATZ.... or would would this be too big with only a 2" leveling kit? would the BAJA's fit on the stock 20" rim?

wandell, if i went with the 305/55-20 in a Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ... would those stick out a lot further than my stock pirellis. Right now my pirells sit flush with the wheel wells of the truck but i think if i went with the bigger tires they would stick out, which i wouldn't want them to do. rms8 has the exact tires on his and his does not stick out at all... did he have to do anything to make the tires sit flush with the wheel wells?

Using the OEM wheels, the 305's will stick out 15mm farther than the 275's because they are 30mm wider.

I'd go with 275/65/20, same width as stock 34" tall.

Same Question

What about the Cooper
ZEON LTZ
LT305/55R20 ZEON LTZ 121S E BLK

Anyone heard anything good or bad with them, they also have 305/50R20.

I just don't want them to rub at all.
