Procomp wheels/tires: Will it Fit?
Procomp wheels/tires: Will it Fit?
I have a 2008 F-150 FX4, and I'm looking to take off the stock 20's for some 33" tires. No level kit, no lift.
Procomp wheel: 6 on 135, 17 x 9
Procomp tire: 305/65R/17
Should I have any problems fitting this tire on this wheel? And will it rub?
Thank for the help.

hmm, thats gonna stick out pretty far, Not sure how no level will handle it, I would guess that it may rub. This ones for Wandell.
What level kit would have it sit evenly? I see AS has 2", 2.5" and 3"...
2" is usually perfect. 04 - 05 models usually take the 2.5" kits, 06 - 08 take the 2" since they have 1 less leaf in the rear than 04 - 05s. 3" level kits put the ball joints and CVs at a high stress angle so its not very well recommended.
Those wheels will stick out 2 1/4 inches more than stock. The tires are 33x12.5x17 and will be close on a 4x4 not leveled but I think they will work. Maybe Wandell will chime in later with some better advice.

I'm not sure if my wheels are the same model, but they are the EXACT same specs and made by ProComp so i can show you how they will fit.
The tires will fit fine on the wheel. Just as a FYI in these pictures, this is with a 2" leveling kit and 315/70/17 (35's basically). No rubbing at all.

They will probably fit with some trimming. They will fit/look much better with a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit.
Thanks for the information everyone. 2" Level kit is lined up.
Nice, I have the same color truck. 35's look good on there.
When off-road in sand and dirt, would I be better off with 33's? Or at least enough that I should opt against 35's?
