will my 22x9 fit this tire....

Im looking at the Cooper LTZ 305/40/22 all terrain. It looks pretty aggresive but at the same time for a 22" rim. Its my 07 Harley F150 4x4. Please let me know quickly. How would it look on there? Would it need more sidewall? I am currently running 275/45/22 and they look fine as far as sidewall etc. I think the 305/40/22 will be about the same amount of sidewall.

According to the 1010 tire size calculator, these tires are .14 inches shorter than the factory tires and have a .07 incher smaller sidewall. I am not sure you will be able to tell the difference just by looking at them.

275/45R22 = 31.74" with 4.87" sidewall
305/40R22 = 31.60" with 4.80" sidewall

The rim width is range is 10 - 12 inches, so you might have a problem finding a shop to install them for you.

I like the aggressive look of the tread and I think they will look good if your truck is stock height or lowered. If your truck is lifted, I would personally go with a smaller wheel and/or more sidewall.

hey bro... your truck looks good. A leveling kit would help me fit those tires huh? Your TG's that are 325/50/22. My only problem would be how would they fit on the rim. I have a shop that will mount it as long as it can happen. Yeah those toyo A/T's are kinda ugly. I agree the 40 series seems a lil too low pro.

I agree with Blackout, a 305/45-22 would look a little better. It's basically a 33x12.50-22 tire while a 305/40-22 is essentially a 32x12.50-22 tire.

blackout and wandell... I would LOVE to get my truck looking like the stance of Blackouts truck. Do you just have the leveling kit and if so, What size? Would those 325/50/22's fit my 22x9's? If its possible for them to go on my tire guy will do it. GOT TO BUY TIRES NOW! so any help would be great!

i have a 2.5" leveling kit to make the tires fit, but i dont know if your 9" wide rims will work with 325's. I'm sure Wandell will know for sure

A lot of people run 325mm wide tires on 9 inch wheels. I'm not sure what the specs are on the OEM Harley 22's but I'm sure the 305/45-22's would fit fine. I'm not sure about the 325/50-22's. I'm positive you would need a leveling kit. My concern would be whether or not your backspacing is so much that a 325mm tire would be pulled in far enough to touch the upper control arm/ball joint. This is a problem with the OEM 20 inch wheels.

What about the 33x12.5x22 toyo mud terrain. Yes they are expensive but i think it would look great on my 22's. Apparently this tire is few and far between but i found a set.

I really like the look of the Toyo MTs. I think they will look good on your truck, but you will probably still need to level it to minimize the rubbing issues.

I have a 2" AS on mine with 33x12.5s on 18x9 wheels with 5" of backspace. I had to trim the front valence on the passenger side because it rubbed when backing out of my garage.

Seems like you guys know your tires.

Im picking up a 2010 2wd xlt crew cab here in a week or so when it comes in.

Ive been looking at some 22x9 30mm offset rims

and just found out cooper zeon ltz comes in a 305/40/22

do you guys think this would look good, fit right, or even with a level kit look good?

Please help me out. I dont know a whole lot about wheels and tires and dont want to order something by mistake! haha

Thanks!
