I had a leak in one of my lines, and had to replace the line. Now after the job is done the brake light is on but no ABS light. After some driving it may go away, but will eventually come back on. There seems to be no issue with stopping power, or fade.

Any thoughts?

 

check your e-brake pedal and make sure it has fully returned. When the brake light is on, try pulling up on the e-brake and see if that turns the light off.

 

I checked it. It is up all of the way. I think that it might be the switch. When I push down the parking brake. Then pushed the button at the switch. The light stays on.
