By what the guy says, it sounds like that tire is about ready to blow. I would not put it on my truck.

i am not sure what the tire being split means but maybe busted belts. they might just be real old a dry rotted but whatever the problem is i would stay away from them.

do you have a pic of the tires or have you seen them in person? you may be ok to buy them and keep the 3 good ones and find another used one. if you have the ability to see them or see pics look at the dot and get the date the tires were made. at least try to find out what the person means by a split.

Don't ever waste your time on junk tires.

Don't ever waste your time on junk tires. It aint worth it. The money you think you're saving will bite you in the As*! Always check the DOT number, the last digits are the date, be sure the tire is not more than 6 years old at the maximum, but I would not put tires older than 4 years old on my truck. Any tire with splits, vibrations, abnormal wear patterns or defects you should stay strickly away from. The amount of rubber on the tire might be nice, but consider everything else first, let the amount of rubber be the LAST consideration. Remember, your life is riding on the tires!

Check the date, if they arent that old buy them, chuck the one that vibrates, use another for a spare and buy two new ones.
