New Tires

So im gonna get some new tires for my expedition. The tires i have on now are BF Goodrich All-Terrains but i was looking at something like the Toyo Open Country M/T's. Any other ideas for me? I want a tire that will have good road performance, but to be able to let me do some medium intensity off roading. Thanks for any feedback

I went with the Goodyear Duratracs right in between an all terrain and mud terrain and they seem to do just fine on the road. Very Happy with them check them out if you havent.

The Toyo MT's would be a great choice.

yokohama geolander ht/s

After replacing all my suspension on my 2000 4.6 I purchased a set of Yokohama geolander ht/s (265/70/r16)
When I sold the truck I had put 39k on the tires and they still had almost 40% of their tread life! they were quiet and handled beautifully. I wanted to get the same for my new truck but I didn't want to spend the $1000 to get them
Anyway, check them out and read the reviews, they really are a stellar tire. FYI I am using goodyear 50k wranglers and they have been really great to on my new truck.

I have the Toyo Open Country MTs and they preform extremely well on and off the road. They are not loud on pavement and handle very well in rain and snow while have good traction off road. You could do worse...

Buy the Toyo m/t's and don't look back. The toyo's are excellent, and very good wear.

Yea my brother has the toyos on his duramax and they look great and perform well. Now my only problem though is because i have 20" rims, im finding it hard to fine 285 tires that would fit my truck (I think i would only be able to tuck 285/65's in there at the most)

Ok so scratch the idea of any type of mud terrain tire because they just wont fit. The best 285/55R20 tire i can find is the one i already have, the BF Goodrich All-Terrains but i was wondering if i could fit 285/65R20's on my expedition. No real reason just wondering cause theyre cheaper and bigger, and thats always good
