I am looking at swapping my chrome 17" wheels with the General tires for the 18" FX4 with the BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A. I found a set of FX4 wheels with tires having about 20,000 miles on them for $150 dollars. I was just wondering if this would be a worthwhile change for the price, since the wheels and tires I have look so crappy.

Also, if I do end up purchasing these wheels and tires should I have them put on by a professional or is this something I could just do in my driveway? I've never changed out wheels and tires on a vehicle and I don't know the process of it. Any advice or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

 

As far as getting the wheels and tires, if you like how they look go for it!!

And for putting them on, yes you could do that in the driveway (Assuming you have the needed tools). If you put the wheels on and they ride like crap may want to go get them balanced as you dont know the current condition of them.
