Will the 22" rockstars fit?

Will 22"x 9.5 xd rockstars with +38mm offset and 6.75" of backspacing fit on a 2006 fx4 with a 3" leveling kit with 35/12.50r22 toyo m/t. Please say yes

I think Blackout Fx4 is running that setup , only he is running monsters and an A/T tire.

Only thing i would be concerned about with that setup would be the 12.5" width and the large side lugs of the toyo M/T's with that high offset. it will most likely rub on the control arm , which is no fun.

I would say with those tires , no, but if you went with a 12" width and an A/T tire i would say possibly

Blackout FX4 is running that set up except his wheels have a +18 offset. A +38mm offset will stick in to far.

the height of the 35's isnt a problem

but there is alot of backspacing on that wheel, which would restrict the width. definitely ruling out a 12.5" width and especially an M/T

lemme just tell you my experience

i had 20x9 Moto Metal 951's they had 6.18 backspacing, i was running a 35/12.5R20 Toyo M/t, and i could barley fit my finger between the tire lug and the control arm, it would rub on sharp turns/ hills and in reverse

K so we are able to run the 22" rockstars, just not with a 12.5" wide tire nor a m/t. Well crap i really want them. I might just get them made to my specs.

if your set on running those wheels , i would look for a 12" (mayb less) width A/T tire

i would wait for Wandell , or some one running those wheels to give you better knowledge, im just giving you my .02

that wheel is more of a "street" wheel and its not gunna give you the "off-road" look you want

the +38 offset is for a lowered truck with low profile tires.. mine are +18 offset and only but slightly on the fender flare while driving in reverse at full steering lock..

i would not attempt to run the +38 offset with any A/t or M/t tire

i just ran a fitment search on Google for the Rockstar. they are available in 22x9.5 with +12 offset. this is your best bet trying to run the Toyo M/t. you may need to trim a little bit of your wheel well but other than that you should be good to go!

I looked into the Rockstar in a 22" wheel a while back and did find that they make a blank wheel in a - offset. Only issue was I only found the blanks in the black wheel. I've seen someone run them on a 97-03 model 4wd, but used a spacer. Not sure how safe this is though.

I agree. My Eagle 22x9.75's have 6.7 inches of backspacing and one of my 305/45-22's (33x12.50) touches my antisway bar at full steering lock. Never felt it but I noticed the shiney spot on it one day while changing my oil. A 2 inch taller tire would rub more.
