torn between 3 tires opinions wanted

I am currently torn between 3 tires for my screw. The choices are : the tried and true BFG AT KO, GOOD YEAR DURATRAC OR THE GOOD YEAR WRANGLER MTR'S W/ KEVLAR{the new ones} I have heard great things bout all these tire but I LOVE the look of the mtr's but the old ones were noisy on the street as my bro had em on his jeep. are the new mtr's any quieter? i am familar w/ the BFG's my Dad had em on a old IH{Internation Harvester for you younger members}Scout and he loved em!! But I cant get over the looks of the new MTR's! Also I have 285/75/16's currently with just my front valence trimmed w/ cooper st's could I go w/ a 295/75/16 w/ just the valence trimmed?

Like you said the BFG AT KO is a proven tire. If you like the looks of the MTR you may want to consider the BFG MT KM.
Let us know about your truck, lift and wheel size for fitment advice.

I'd go with the BFG, I'm not a big fan of those GoodYear tires

Well personally I love the bfg at tire, always has been a good tire, but the duratrac looks better than it in my opinion. And that new mtr with kevlar looks awesome on one of these trucks. I definitely have plans for that tire in about 2.5-3 months after I wear mine down some more.

I assume this means you have a 4x4. Yes, a 295/75-16 will fit.

Everyone has the BFG's I went with the Duratracs and love them, I would say get them but if you want a more aggressive tire for mudding then go with the wranglers.

The GY Wrangler MTR w/Kevlar is a better on road tire than the traditional GY Wrangler MTR, but it is still an aggressive mud terrain tire. Of the three you listed, the BFG AT will be the best on road tire, and probably give you the best mileage. The MTR w/Kevlar will probably be the best off road tire, with road manners and wear accordingly. So, why not look into the happy medium?

From what I hear the Duratrac is plenty capable in both on and off road situations, and trust me, they look 100x better in person than they do in pictures online. The Duratrac offers semi aggressive tread spacing, nice shoulder lugs and still has a ton of siping for rain, icy snow and other inclimate weather. They have the Mountain Snowflake symbol, as well as a diffiuclt to get European noise rating certifying that they will perform in bad weather, and are at least semi quiet going down the road.
