So, I'm asking for the best size tire for my stock FX4 rims? I currently have Firestone Destination A/T's on my truck, 285's/18's.. I like tires like Km2's and FS Dest M/T's etc, what would be the biggest size I could run (w/o any problems, ie. rubbing etc) on my FX4 with a 2"AS levelling kit?? I'm looking for a more aggressive looking tire to beef up my truck.. Thx for any input....

 

Well height wise would be 33in and width is up to you 305, 325 etc. So good luck!!

 

You can actually run a 35" tall tire if on a stock rim if you keep the tire width around 12.50 or less. Some folks are running the 325 width but it rubs and a 13" wide tire on a 7.5" rim is not that safe and the tire will wear unevenly. On an 05 4x4 with a level kit you should be able to run a 35/12.5/18 KM2 or MT's with minor trimming.

 

WIth a leveling kit and the oem wheels you can fit a 35x12.50-18 but they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock.
