MT tire pressure...??

Okay fella's, I just had my new "shoes" mounted up and they look pretty sweet. I went with the 35 x 12.50/18 BFG MT KM2's. My question is, What is the ideal tire pressure for these tires?

Those look to be a LR D with a max of 50. I would try them at 40 and keep an eye on wear. I would not go below about 36 (on road) no matter what.

I've always had great luck with 40 psi in truck tires.

Do you guys run 40psi all the way around? I've been told that you should run more in the front due to the most weight being in the front....? Thanks guys...

You do not need to run different pressures, unless you get excessive wear in the center of the tread on the rear. However if you do run less in the rear, anytime you haul a load, you will have to inflate them to the same as the front.

Any difference in the noise level with the tires at 40 psi? I am running 36 psi with my Toyo MTs and I was thinking about taking them up to 38 or 40.

Thanks,

I doubt 4 psi will change the road noise much.

Are they mounted on stock wheels? I run mine at 38 front and 32 rear for better tire wear. The rear stays well planted, no sidewall flexing or anything like that. 40 psi might even work better in the front, since the outside edges wear a little from hard cornering.
