Go Toyo!!

Well I backed my truck into a spot at work this morning and gave her a wipe down with a quick detail spray. Got around towards the front passenger side and notice that I have a screw in my tire. Don't know how it got there, but things happen. I got someone to bring me a tire patch kit since all the tire places are closed today.

I pop out the screw and it's a good 3/4" long, but I noticed something...it didn't pierce the tire! It went through the thick part of the tread but wasn't long enough to go all the way in. I think I know what tire I'm sticking with from now on.

Still standing

Yeah I was extremely lucky. Between the treads and I'm sure it would have punctured. Haven't had 'em long so I'd have been disappointed to see a hole in them.

I couldn't imagine driving up there all the time. We had several inches of snow not too long ago (which is a lot for us) and it was a blast to drive in. Was really funny seeing all the cars getting stuck. Us southern folk aren't used to the snow. The Toyos handled it like a champ.

A tire with that hard of compound, add the cold temps were get up here, those tires are so slick. i buddy has them on his truck and in the winter he is constantly in 4x4 just on the road.
