black on black

any one have any really good looking black offroad rims on their truck?
im looking at running some 17s with a 35.

they gotta be durable so that they obviously wont bend or warp in anyway when i am wheelin.
i was looking at a pair of kmc enduros and some kmc addicts as well as the hoss's. ya i already know that they dont make the addicts in the 5x135 bolt pattern but if i like em enough i might just get adapters.

anyone run 10 wide? i was thinking of just running the 8 but my friend zach runs a 10 and his hook up pretty dang well. i dont have the exact specs of his tires but i would think that it wouldnt make a whole lot of difference.

any pros and cons to a 10inch to a 8 inch wide tire?

shoot me some pics of ur trucks with those black rims and big ol meaty tires :] so i can see them on a real truck.

thanks!

Post a pic of your truck so we can get a look as to what these wheels are goin on.

Side note: I remember seeing someone who put on the Addicts lately on a gray/silver NBS. I'll have to try to hunt him down so I could give you a look as to what they may look like on your rig.

For now, check out my buddy Chris'..

Indo, are those American Racing Mojaves in those pics? Those are IMPOSSIBLE to find. I finally gave up on those and got some Pro Comp series 8179s in 17x9.

what about wear and tear? i know a lot of guys put rims on their truck for the cool factor and dont get me wrong, thats totally cool. but does anyone have any experience with the xd's offroad? can they take the abuse or are they more off a "flashy offroad wheel"

i need somethin that will look cool but will perform.

btw trucks look good! mblouir- murdered truck looks sick man. definitely

keep em comin!

Black rims are black rims. You tear them up on rocks they won't be black after that. The worst I have taken mine is rocky mud and they showed no signs of damage.

Would a steel wheel be a better choice then? I always thought steel wheels held up better than aluminum.

well im meaning in more terms of structurally. ya i know rims will get torn up and paint will fade and get scratched, but im just wondering if the xds can handle some abuse without bending or breaking considering some of those angles of the spokes and thickness

I'm pretty sure the KMC XD series are specifically off road wheels, so you should be fine if you go with something from their line.
