Question how far will they stick out?

I need to know how far past the fender wells will a 17x9 with 4.5 inches of backspace and -12 offset stick out? how does this compare to a 16x10 with 4.5 inches of backspace and -24 offset? I want to run a 33x12.5 mud grappler and helo maxx 6's

A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs is gonna stick out 1.5 inches farther than the oem 17x7.5 inch wheels and 2 inches farther than the oem 16x7 inch wheels. A 16x10 with 4.5 inches of bs will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the oem 17's and 3 inches farther than the oem 16's. Neither will stick out past the fender flares. I have 16x10's and the edge of my 35's are just about even with the edge of the front fender flares.

I was thinking different unless it's different b/c of the different model trucks.
I'm running an 11" wheel with -25 with 5" backspace and they stick out around 2.5 inches. I was thinking that the 16x10 would stick out about 2" and the 17x9 about 1" past the fender. He has a much narrow rim then me, but has a less backspace.

The 04-08 trucks have completely different wheels specs. THe OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels on the nbs are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of bs. The OEM wheels on the 97-03's are 16x7 or 17x7.5 inches with only 4.5 inches of bs.
