Leaking Tire

I have a 2006 Supercab with the OEM General's (P255/70R17). Truck has ~80K miles and these are the stock originals. One of my tires has a slow leak in it, about 1-2 psi/day. I took it ot a tire store and they could not find anything wrong with it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any help is appriciated.

Things like that are a pain. I'm sure it is nothing obvious or you would have easily spotted it. I'd suggest taking a look at the valve stem. They have been known to go bad. Look for obvious signs first, like cracks in the rubber stem from dry rotting. Try putting some soapy water or spit over the top of it to make sure it's not leaking at the air inlet itself.

Dude, just be thankful that those Generals have lasted you 80K miles and a leak is your only problem. Those tires suck, its an omen. 80K is a lot for any tire, do yourself a favor and get new set, its time!

did you check the lip of the rim on both sides, is there any curb damage that could casue the seal between tire and rim to leak. Like what was already said ide take tire off and use soapy water around valve stem, around rim were it touches tire and all the way around the tread. but with 80k its time for replacment .

There's no rim damage that I can see. Can the valve stem be changed without dismounting the tire? If it's not the valve stem, I plan on new tires. Has anyone had any experience with BF Goodriches?

Thanks for the help.
