Alignment after leveling kit ?

I had a 2" leveling kit installed about 4 months ago (07 S-CREW 4x4). After maybe 4000 miles I am seeing wear on the outside edge of the tires (305 55 20's). Unfortunately the shop that did the install went belly up.
I was taking the truck to the local Ford dealer for other issues and asked the service manager about checking the front end alignment. As soon as he saw it had a leveling kit he said he couldn't do anything because he didn't know what specs to use. Appears to be a toe in issue to me? Anybody run into this ?

The autospring instructions say that a front end alignment to correct toe-in is required. I don't know why the dealer would refuse to perform an alignment, it seems to be a pretty straightforward thing.

Sounds just like lazy mechanics to me.

Go to a local tire shop and get them to do the alignment.

Just so you know you can knock you alingment out anytime, so 4000 miles it could happen , hitting bumpt to hard anything like that.

I bought my truck w/ a leveling kit already on it w/ 315/70/17 BFG AT KO's w/ about 50% tread left on them. I bought it from a dealer and they didn't have any info so I didn't know if it had been aligned or not.

Within 5k miles of driving, the damn near indestructable AT KO's were toast on the front on the outsides. Down near to the cords in the tires. Needless to say an alignment was never done.

I replaced all 4 tires w/ better ones and had it aligned and its perfect now. I would highly recommend an alignment anytime doing any suspension work.
