New and a bit lost
I just bought my first truck last summer. I never thought I was a truck guy till I got one... now I'm hooked.
I have a 06 f150 Lariat SC 4X4 with the 20" rims. I am about to do a lift on the truck (just 2 or 3 inches...I'll save those questions for another thread), and want to keep the stock rims, but beef up the tires. I'm thinking 285/65's should be a safe bet, but was hoping for around the 305 range.
So here's my question (sorry, I know I ramble)... at what point do I have to worry about inside clearance (ex. when hard cornering)?

I"ve got 50k miles on 2" leveling kit, and I haven't had a problem with it. Also got a S/D at work with one and we are constantly towing heavy loads and still never had a problem.
Then I would look into the 305/55/20 like mentioned above. If you want some pics of what the setup would look like just look into my albums and im running that setup
