No, I'm not sure what I want to do yet. I change my mind everyday. I can't seem to find any vehicles with the 922c's to see what they look like on a vehicle.

i am not a wheel fitment expert but, offset and backspace are not necessarily 2 different things:

the amount of offset on the wheel will determine your backspace according to rim width. A 0 offset would put the mounting surface for the wheel exactly in the center.

width = 7.5" (190mm) *rounding off mm's
backspace = 4.5" (114mm)
leaving 3.0" (76mm) from the mounting surface to the outside lip of the wheel.
The exact center of the width of the wheel or 0 offset would be half of 7.5" or 3.75" (95mm)

either way, they both relate to how far the wheels stick out or how much they are recessed in the wheel well.

and as far as the 24" Rockstars go, you can buy blanks and have the wheel shop drill them out for your lug pattern.. that's not really having them custom made.

XD Rockstar
* 24x12, BLANK
* Backspace 4.77 in.
* Max Load = 3200lbs
* Finish = Matte Black
* Hubcentric = No
* Offset = -44 mm

they are related yes, but where do you get the offset of 4.77 inches? are you using the offset -44? it states in the link that backspace is 8.23" thats ALOT of b.s. meaning that they don't work. i personally would never do what i am gonna say, but he could get some 2.5 inch adapters and make them work. his bj's and bearings would be thrashed in no time and i think he would have major fitment issues, but anything is possible. personally if it was me, i'd just find different wheels, but i do love the look of rockstars.

some wheel website( i think it was 4wheelparts.com) has the 24" -44 offset listed with 4.77 of backspace.. but then again you can never really trust so of the info you get online. like i said im not a wheel expert so i am going on the info that the site had listed and the little knowledge that i have about wheel fitment..

i gave it my best shot!! LOL!!

now this has me picking my brain... i thought that a negative offset would bring the mounting surface of the wheel inwards to the back of the rim. which in turn would reduce the backspace and make the wheels stick out further.

and a positive offset would make the mounting surface outwards to make the wheel not stick out. which would have a higher number backspace... because backspace is the distance from the back of the wheel to the mounting surface... right??

i give up

Ok dont answer if you give up on explaining this. lol But the chart here https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html#backspace that shows the width of the wheels and backspace, on a 12" wide wheel with -38 to -51 has 4.5 to 5" of backspacing, and these wheels have -44, so wouldnt that be in that area somewhere. Like i said this is all confusing so you dont have to answer back. lol

I'm thinking that the 8.23 back spacing has to be the wrong info even though i've seen it on two different websites. I may have to go on one of the Diesel forums and ask someone who has them on one of there trucks what the actual backspacing is. What really had me thinking was that they make them to fit the chevy 6x139.7. With an 8" backspace they wouldn't fit a a chevy or gmc Z-71.

i wouldn't take any word for it, i would call KMC and find out for sure before you drop 2500 bucks on rims.

I dont think it could have an 8+ inch backspace. That would put it in the + offsets. The -44 offset equals about the same 4 to 5 backspace cuz its a 12 inch wide wheel insead of our 10's. -44 on a 12 is basically equivalent to a -25 or so on our 10's. I hope this makes sense. I hope im right too! Ha ha

i just did some looking at one forum said that all 24x12 rockstars have the same backspacing of 4.77", now why would the blanks be any different? i got a feeling that link we were looking at is wrong, but on the other hand, i have found several sites with the same info of 8.23 inches of backspace.

the research i did shows the 24x12 rockstar blanks have a -44 offset with 4.77" of backspace..

with all of the research that we are all doing on these wheels i hope that HighON22's buys these damn things!!!
