Where to get good replacement calipers

My front caliper on the passenger side is sticking real bad and the driver is starting to as well... I am wondering where everyone gets their replacement calipers at, and where I am going to get the most bang for my buck...I got a price from advance auto for 50 each with core...that seems cheap to me, I don't want a problem because of poor quality.

there all the same, thats why you get a core , they just get sent back to where ever to get rebuilt, and yeah there cheap cuz all the money is in the core, they all have to be of good quallity cuz there brakes, they dont want to get into a lawsuit

i recently bought one at NAPA for $70 bucks,,,core was $55!!!! of which i havne't taken back yet to get core charge back. That was before i saw the ones on new take offs. A new factory set from '07 f150 for $139 !! no core charge. (plus shipping) and you get new lines per the picture. I'm a bit cautious about stuff that sounds too cheap, esp critical parts like brakes. But like 4play said,,,any company that does a rebuild on these must do it right. I stay away from autozone , unless oil or somthing simple. Im nuts over name brand stuff. Like Cardone, Wagner, Raybestos,,etc. rossford

Not sure if I was reading the extended warranty correct, but I think the calipers are included under Ford's extended warranty. If you bought the warranty, then you could be covered. Only problem would be convincing the dealer that they need to be replaced.

Just a thought!

Regards!

I really wish I had an ESP...but I don't...I'm going to just get the ones from advance here in a couple weeks and get the carquest brakes and rotors replaced under their warranty. I had over 100k on my ranger with no frickin caliper issues...I have had 3 sets of rotors on this truck since 28k...the carquest blues dont wear hardly at all though
