Tire Fitment Question (I searched! I promised)
LOL... Promise* Proof reading FTW!
Been lurking around the forums for a while, lots of good info and some of you helped me out with my previous questions, now I have another.
Current info on my truck--
Truck: 2006 F150 SuperCrew XLT ***2WD***
Mods: 2.5 Inch Autosprings Leveling kit
Wheels: Stock 17 inch
Tires: Procomp Mud Terrains 33 x 12.5 x 17
I installed the leveling kit myself and found someone selling the Procomp tires locally for $200.00 for set of four. They currently have 50%-60% thread on them. I read a few posts on the site saying that using a 33 x 12.5 tire on the stock 7.5 inch rim was not a good idea due to uneven wear, but since they were "temp" tires and were cheap I thought it really wouldn't matter. Also at the time I was a bit strapped for cash! Tires look good though, no rubbing at full lock. Haven't had them long enough to notice any uneven wear...
So now I want to get new tires (tax refund!) and I want to get something a little bigger. The 33s leave a bit of room under the tire wells (more in the front than the back) so I was wondering if a LT315/70R17, BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO would fit? According to the converter I used that's a 34.4 x 12.4
Any thoughts? Personal experiences?
Isn't that basically a 35 inch tire?
thanks!

Those are the tires... as you can see from the pictures the side lugs don't stick out too far so it could be a combination of both.
Follow up questions, you said they wont fit on the OEM wheels, will aftermarkets help? Or is the 35 inch tire just too larger to fit in the tire well? Or is it too larger to be able to turn?
Aftermarket wheels are outta my budget, just want to learn all I can
thanks!
Aftermarket wheels will just make the situation worse. You just need more lift than a leveling kit to fit 35's on a 4x2. I'd stick with 33's which personally, I think would look better anyway.
