Help me pick a tire please!

Well im going with a 285/70/17. What I want is good input (which you guys have alot) and personal exp with different tires. These are some of the tires I was looking at. I really like the Firestone dest M/T. It has a really high rating and alot of people say it does good in almost all conditions despite being a M/T.

The tire that a lot of people like is the BF Goodrich. My truck came with Hankook & currently has Hankook. I also like Goodyear Wrangler.

I am running the Destination ATs, in this size on my Expd. So far I'm quite impressed. They are quite, and handle great. Did real well in teh snow this morning as well. They feel a lot more stable than the BFGs I had on my F150.

I have Firestone Destination AT's on my 150. I normally drive on-road, but at times I have to go off-road to cut down firewood. I do not know about the M/T's. but the A/T's are very quiet and have held up exceptionally well.

The MT's are tough and wear like iron, had a buddy with them on his Sierra 1500 4x4. They were loud and rode pretty rough. He recently took them off with lot of tread left and put on some Wrangler Silent Armors.

I just sold my Destination AT's (putting BFG AT's on tomorrow) with my stock XLT rims, and they have just over 40 k km's ( 28k miles?). I measured the treads before putting them up for sale and they all have 12/32's left. New they were 15/32's. So, they are also an excellent wearing tire. As others have mentioned they are also very quiet and handle well.
I have pics in my gallery, if you can get to it.

My 2 cents.

My preference for AT's are BFG, Toyo and Nitto. If you want a good MT for the price check out the Maxxis Buckshot's and Bighorn's.
