Angry Anyone know anything about MB Predator wheels?

I'm soooo un-freakin-decided!!! I found some 17X8 MB Predator wheels with +25mm offset. Would these wheels rub with 35X12.5 Toyo Op Country M/T? Is anyone running this combo and if so could you post pic?

What backspacing does that work out to be? If it's 5.5 inches of bs, they will fit if you add a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit.

I don't really know how to figure out the backspacing but I forgot to mention that my truck is leveled with a 2.5 in spacer. I've looked but I can't seem to find the backspacing for this wheel. I know there was one guy that was running the 20x8.5 with 35x12.5 Toyo Muds on his leveled '04 FX4.

Yep, 5.5" of backspacing. You'll probably rub a little with 35's unless you do some trimming.

That's the size wheel you will need to clear them. I'm running 17x8 with 5 1/2" BS American's with 35x12.5 BFG AT's (315x70x17) no rubbing with the AT's but the MT's side lugs may give you a slight rub, nothing bad. I think the BFG KM2 MT's may be a little narrower than the Toyo's and give you a little more room, but that's up to you.

Nice!! The offset on your wheels is also +25? You think the side lugs would rub on the trim or the control arm......or both? Does Toyo have anything close to 11.5in wide?

My wheels are +25 offset which is a 5 1/2" BS, I've seen Toyo 35x12.5x17 MT's on these size wheels and they clear. Any rubbing should be minor. Toyo also makes a 295x70x17 which is a little over 33 inches tall that would give you more room. Maxxis and Goodyear make 305x70x17 MT's that are close to 34 inches tall and would also look good.

Ok........so the offset and backspacing go hand in hand? I found the Toyo's in 285/75 17. They're a little over 34 inches but are about an inch shy of 12.5. What do you think? Hopefully they won't even rub on the control arm. These wheels and tires are the combo I'll go with......................I think!!

The 285/75-17 Toyo AT would basically be a 34x11.50 tire and should work perfectly with no rubbing at all. If you like that tire, it's sister tire, the Nitto Terra Grappler, is also available in 295/70-17 which is essentially a 34x12.00-17 tire.
