Got my AS 2.5 Inch Kit

I bought an AS 2.5 inch kit and want new tires. I have read reviews about to BG A/T's and they arent that great so i was thinking of goin Nitto Terra Grapplers. Whats the biggest size i can put on a stock 18 inch rim with the kit. Currently i am running the stock size 275/65/18. I just dont want the tires to wear to fast or wrong. Thanks.

I loved mine, I got 45,000 miles out of mine with zero complaints. I only took them off because i went to a larger rim. My buddy put them on his truck and is still using them.

I just read that they werent all that great off road and made a lot of noise and that was pretty much every review but i might still go with them since they have the size i want. But i just need to know how big i can go with out any problems.

My A/T's weren't really noisy at all. Not enough for me to notice anyway. You can fit a 35" tall tire on your stock rims with the 2.5" kit. Check this thread out, https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...installed.html

I'd go with a 305x65x18 BFG all terrain( close to 34 inches tall,) and will fit and look great on a leveled 4x4. I've got about 30k miles on my BFG's and they are only 1/3 worn. Great tires.

i dont know who was writing those reviews, but i LOVE my BFG's. absolutely the best preforming AT tire off-road, and they handle very well on-road as well. You can expect a long life from them if you treat them right.

good luck, but you know what i'll recomend,

Yeah I'd definately pick the BFGs over Nittos. BFG will do way better off road, and look better IMO. Honestly, I think the Nittos are a sort of an all season/all terrain hybrid, whereas the BFGs are a true A/T.

Just my .02

I've got BF Goodrich A/Ts..... Incase you didn't gather that

I'd go with the 305/65/18 bfg all terrain. They will last longer and they aren't any louder than the factory tires that came on my 06 fx4(goodyear wranglers I believe)
