I have seen pictures of the Procomp Xtreme 7005 and some of them are all black, while others have silver highlights. Are they different years or can they be ordered two different ways?

They only come with the little chrome/silver outer beads. The ones you see that are black the members have painted them

I personally like them with the way they come with the chrome/silver beads (not painted black) gives it just enough contrast to kinda pop. All black just looks a little too blah or bland

 

Thats the wheel I wanted, but they were/are on back order. By having the silver on them, chrome lugs don't look so out of place. I ended up with black wheels and the chrome lugs looked funny, had to order black lugs.

 

Ouch.. so I guess that means my whole truck looks a little too bland? I'll admit they look pretty cool on your truck fx4silver, I even considered leaving them silver, but I figured it was all black or nothing at all, else I would have gone an entirely different route. meh.. btw KR, I did paint them, it's been 6+ months and it held up well, I used Duplicolor 2in1 touch in paint.. I also have black wheel locks from GorillaAuto to finish off the look

 

No, I think for an all blacked out truck you've got the look down and your wheels work nice with the whole package you have going on. Although, I think you could have left the chrome beads and it would have look just as good as it does now, everything would still be all black (majority), and your wheel and tire combo would have "popped" more. Chrome beads, black beads, I've always like your truck

i think they look really good. i actually ordered them but they are backordered and i got a picture with the xd hoss in front of my truck and think im going to switch to that
